Constructed of dark grey painted magnetic steel, the obverse bearing a central Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika on a pebbled field, situated within an oval laurel leaf wreath joined together at the bottom by ribbon, the reverse with a loop and claws emanating from a functional roller, the latter retaining an original brown leather strap, the buckle maker marked with the logo of Richard Sieper &
