Footnote: The 14th Infantry Battalion was raised from the Royal Montreal Regiment and mobilized at Camp Valcartier, Quebec under the authority of P. C. O. 2067, August 6, 1914. The Battalion sailed with a strength of 46 officers and 1,097 other ranks under the command of Lieutenant Colonel F. J. Meighen on October 3, 1914. The Battalion served
