A Scarce Silver 251St Infantry Battalion Officer's Cap Badge, C.1917 GTRexclude He signed his Attestation PaperIn sterling silver, tarnished, marked "STERLING" and maker marked "STANLEY AYLWARD TORONTO" on the reverse, measuring 41. 5 mm (w) x 50. 8 mm (h), both lugs intact, one of which has been re positioned, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Manitoba with mobilization headquarters at Winnipeg under the authority of G. O. 48, May 1, 1917. The Battalion sailed October 6, 1917 under the command of Lieutenant Colonel G. H. Nicholson
