Constructed of silvered brass, the obverse bearing a central raised Sig rune, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, one edge bearing a partially legible Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo, the lower edge marked with a maker code of M4 30 for Berg & Nolte, Ldenescheid, measuring 62 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), demonstrating near total loss of silver finish throughout, a scarce buckle in very fine condition.
