Constructed of pebbled aluminum; the obverse with a raised field with a German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, surrounded by the inscription GOTT MIT UNS (German God with us) on the top half, with a laurel wreath tied together at the base via a ribbon on the bottom half; with a soldered catch and a double prong spring bar; marked with the logo of Paul Cramer & Co. on the reverse; measuring 63 mm
