Constructed of silvered tombak, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a National Socialist Motor Corps (NSKK) insignia, set around a stylized map of Germany, with the points of stops of the NSKKs cross German motor excursion marked, overlaid by an inscription of 2000 KM DURCH DEUTSCHLAND (2000 KM THROUGH GERMANY), above
