Pierre Curie, French physicist Size:XL: 100 x 70cm (starts Frankfurt on 28th April)Pierre Curie, French physicist, (c1924). Pierre Curie (1859 1906) was a pioneer in the study of crystallography, magnetism, piezoelectricity and radioactivity. In 1898, he and his wife Marie isolated radium from pitchblende. They were awarded the Nobel Prize in physics in 1903.
