Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with an inscription of VERDIENST UM DEN STAAT (SERVICE TO THE STATE) inside of a laurel wreath, the reverse with the monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm II above a date of 1912, unmarked, measuring 39. 20 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.
