In silver, an ovular medal presenting the right facing profile of Franz Joseph, the reverse inscribed FRANCISCVS JOSEPHVS I QVINQVAGENARII REGNI DIEM FRESTVM CELEBRANS II DECEMRIS MDCCCXCVIII, worn on a trifold ribbon with a silver bar dated 1848 1898, measures 31. 0 mm (w) x 43. 4 mm (h), weighs 25. 56 grams, light wear, in very fine condition.
