Of Turkish manufacture, in nickel plated brass with red patination, tughra of Sultan Mehmed V Red, over the date 1333 AH (AD 1915) within an upward facing crescent moon, ball finials on the tips of the star points, measuring 56. 2 mm (w) x 53. 3 mm (h), horizontal pinback, chipping and crazing evident in the red patination, better than very fine.
