A circular medal in gilded bronze, the obverse centre presenting the coat of arms, the reverse centre presenting the inscription FR VERDIENSTE UM DER FEUERLSCHWESEN, surrounded by an open ended wreath of oak leaves, measuring 30. 42 mm in diameter, on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in extremely fine condition.
