Germany, Hj. A 1938 National Trade Competition Victor’s Badge, Silver Grade, By Gustav Brehmer Newly Listed II Class (in bronze gilt(Ehrenzeichen Gausieger im Reichsberufswettkampf 1938). Constructed of silvered bronze with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel leaf wreath, surrounding a central white enameled disc, overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a cogwheel overlaid by an enameled HJ insignia, circumscribed by an inscription of GAUSIEGER 1938, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker
