Canada, Cef. A 175Th Infantry Battalion "Medicine Hat Battalion" Cap Badge, GTRexclude Canada General Service Medal 1866-70Type II with "Overseas 175 Battalion". In pickled brass, voided, measuring 36. 2 mm (w) x 43 mm (h), both lugs intact, scattered wear in the pickled finish, giving it a reddish appearance, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Battalion was raised in the Medicine Hat district of Alberta with mobilization headquarters at Medicine Hat under the authority of G. O. 69, July 15, 1916. The Battalion sailed October 4, 1916 under the command of Lieutenant
