Constructed of plated magnetic steel, the obverse bearing a raised SS style German national eagle clutching a wreathed swastika, overlaid a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of MEINE EHRE HEIT TREUE (MY HONOUR IS LOYALTY), the reverse with a catch and claws emanating from a functional roller, marked with Sig runes, a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo, and a maker code of 155 40 for F. W. Assmann & Shne,
