An Army M1914 Long Sawback Bayonet Auction Archive surface rust present on theThis bayonet features a 478 mm long steel blade, magnetic, with an extremely sharp blade on one side, a serrated edge on the other side, along with a very sharp tip, the fuller running three quarters of the length of the bayonet on one side, maker marked "HS" (Hans Steiner, Wasen) and marked with the Swiss Cross on the ricasso. The blade is embedded into the heavy steel crossguard that is designed with a ring at one end for placement upon the barrel
