Traditional Handmade English Egg Basket kitchen Marketed since 1885A reintroduction of a basket design made over 100 years ago, this Traditional English Stave Basket, known as the "Fred's Egg", reflects a once common form used on local farms. John Williamson has revived the lost art of Devon stave basket making using original museum transcripts, alongside archival research and the work of photographer James Ravilious, who documented rural life in the region during the 1970s and 80s. Today, the craft is recognized by
