A First War Inter-Allied Victory Medal, By Adrien Chobillon Auction An 1939 AH Gaudiplems AwardIn bronze, maker marked "AC" within a triangle (Adrien Chobillon) and marked "BRONZE" on the edge, engraver marked "C. Charles" on the obverse, measuring 35. 7 mm in diameter, original ribbon, very light contact, extremely fine. Footnote: Cuba declared war on Germany one day after the United States in 1917. A draft was enacted, and 25,000 soldiers were sent overseas to France. Chobillon was the official manufacturer of Cuban Victory medals in France
