A Fire Brigade Commander’s Helmet Archive He would spend three weeksA well preserved Slovakian Fire Brigade Commanders helmet, constructed of a lacquered black vulcanfibre and magnetic metal composite shell. Affixed to the exterior of the crown is a T shaped bronze frame, secured in place with nine protruding rivets. Emanating from the frame is an ornate raised comb of identical construction, flanked on each side by raised and finely detailed laurel branches.
