the 2nd Parachute Brigade left the 6th Airborne Division and moved to Germany where it became part of the British Army on the Rhine
with hand embroidered Osmania Symbol in silvered wire
Accompanied by its 32 mm (w) x 12 mm (h) Ribbon Bar with two Maple Leaf devices
1942 and signed in black ink by the same Hauptmann whose facsimile is on the above document

Constructed of white wool with a buckram core, trimmed with twisted and rolled gold bullion wire piping, the obverse bearing hand embroidered gold bullion wire insignia, unmarked, measuring 50 mm (w) x 60 mm (l), the piping on two sides has been lost and there is some additional soiling and material fatigue evident, in overall very fine condition.
