Reuss, Principality. A Silver Medal Of Merit, C.1900 Auction partially enameled crown(Silberne Verdienstmedaille). Instituted 1885 by Prince Heinrich XIV. (1885 1918 issue). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a monogram of Prince Heinrich XIV, the reverse with a central inscription of FR VERDIENST (FOR MERIT) inside of a laurel wreath, unmarked, measuring 32. 67 mm in diameter, weighing 17. 0 grams, in better than very fine condition.
