Germany, Kriegsmarine. A Rare Female Auxiliary’s Board Cap certificate_of_authenticity measuring 44 mm (w) x(Kriegsmarine dunkelblaues Schiffchen fr Nachrichtenhelferinnen). An extremely well preserved Kriegsmarine female auxiliarys board cap, constructed of dark blue wool. The cap is fully surrounded by fold down side walls which slope downward toward the front. A length of golden yellow wool piping fully trims the top edge of the walls. Stitched onto the peak is an insignia consisting of a dark blue rayon backer bearing a machine embroidered golden yellow
