A German 1915 Care For Widows And Orphans Medal Newly Listed Eastmedal in 1942A German 1915 Care for Widows and Orphans Medal Silver, oval shaped, weighing 26. 3 grams, obverse illustrating the bust of a wing helmeted female warrior, the date "1915" above, "SIEG=" and "FRIED" on either side of her (Siegfried) and three fleur de lys below, reverse illustrating a downward pointing sword gripped by a pair of hands, the point of which is placed into a crown below, the sword flanked by oak leaves, surrounded by the inscription
