Constructed of aluminum, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a double sided oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the top and bottom by ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised RAD insignia, the reverse bearing an inscription of FR TREUE DIENSTE IM REICHSARBEITSDIENST (FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE REICH LABOUR SERVICE), unmarked, measuring 32. 54 mm (w) x
