Klasse). (1865 1914 issue). In silver Maltese Cross with white and red enamels, obverse with a central white enameled medallion bearing a gilt inscription of VERDIENST (MERIT) within a ring of red enamel, reverse with white enameled arms and centre, 30. 6 mm (w) x 33. 7mm (h), with uncommon silver import mark on integral ring referencing import from Neustadt, Germany (1867 1922), with enamel loss to centre obverse, period
