Germany, Kriegsmarine. A Pith Helmet Eagle Province of China 7 mm (w) x 66(Kriegsmarine Mtzenadler fr die Tropenhelm). Constructed of gilded tombak, the obverse consisting of an elongated Kriegsmarine eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse retaining all three original lugs, unmarked, measuring 110 mm (w) x 52 mm (h), both the lugs and overall structure of the eagle demonstrating bending consistent with field wear and uniform removal, in near extremely fine condition.
