Prussia, Kingdom. An Artillery Officer’s Pickelhaube Plate Newly Listed After attending the Hanover War(Pickelhaube Insigne). Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of a Hohenzollern eagle clutching an orb and sceptre, overlaid by the monogram of Frederick the Great and a banner bearing an inscription of Mit Gott fr Knig und Vaterland (With God for King and Fatherland), the reverse with one of two attachment prongs intact, unmarked, measuring 105 mm (w) x 95 mm (h), minor tarnishing evident, in better than very fine condition.
