A Late Civil War Republican Air Force Lieutenant Pilot's Flight Suit Badge Hold 9 - Summer and AutumnIn brass with red and black paint, with die stamped detail added to the wings, measuring 55 mm in diameter, with three die holes for flight suit attachment, obverse exhibiting scattered chipping in the black paint, the reverse with minor oxidation spots present, near extremely fine. Footnote: These badges were apparently worn in small amounts (when they could afford the production), late in the war, with the red star above the wings used only in 1938
