(1915 1918 issue). Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised Cross Patte defaced by a central crowned Saxon coat of arms, with the three and nine oclock arms bearing a date of 1914, the reverse bearing the raised monogram of Duke Ernst II, unmarked, measuring 31. 17 mm in diameter, weighing 15. 5 grams,
