Rare. Footnote: The West African Regiment was raised in 1889 at Sierra Leone in West Africa. The regiment served with great distinction at Sierra Leone 1898, Ashanti 1900, and in Duala in the Cameroons 1914 1916. It was disbanded on the August 1, 1928.
