Germany, Third Reich. A Lufthansa Crew Badge, Stick Pin Version Heer. A Flak/Artillery Hauptmann’s Service Tunic maker marked “S & M”(Deutsche Lufthansa Allgemeines Dienstabzeichen, Anstecknadel). Constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, the obverse consisting of a German national eagle overlaid by a diamond defaced by a black mobile swastika, in turn situated above a silvered and blue enameled Lufthansa insignia, the reverse affixed with a stick pin, unmarked, measuring 24 mm (w) x 24 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
