Germany. A Damascus Steel Knife, by Gebrüder Krusius United Republic of the 30 mm wide sweatband(Damast Messer). A unique and ornate Damascus steel knife, measuring 270 mm in total length. It features a 162 mm long Damascus steel blade, bearing obverse and reverse ricasso inscriptions. One reads ECHT DAMAST, indicating genuine Damascus steel, while the opposite bears a makers mark of KRUSIUS, SOLINGEN, for the firm of Gebrder Krusius. The blade sits securely within a polished dark wooden handle with dual sided ribbing. Intricate silver fittings
