A cross constructed of gilded bronze, the obverse depicting the crowned royal monogram of Adolf George, with the inscription FR TREUE DIENSTE 1914 (FOR FAITHFUL SERVICES 1914), the reverse plain, measuring 35. 67 mm (w) x 40. 43 mm (h), on loop for suspension from period original combat ribbon, and in very fine condition.
