Constructed of gilded bronze with multi coloured enamels, consisting of a Cross Patte with white enameled arms, the obverse bearing a central enameled medallion featuring a white disc centrepiece, overlaid by a red Geneva Cross, situated within a black enameled ring bearing a gilt inscription of DEUTSCHES ROTES KREUZ (GERMAN RED CROSS),
