Produced by Mike Hedges famed for his work on The Cures Seventeen Seconds & Siouxsie and the Bansheess A Kiss in the Dreamhouse and mixed by Alan Moulder, Split sees the band hit a poppier sound whilst retaining their almost pitch black feel.
