Constructed of magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback and aluminum clasp, the obverse with a central Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of TREUE DIENSTE IN DER WEHRMACHT (LOYAL SERVICE IN THE WEHRMACHT), the reverse with a number 4 inside of an oak leaf wreath, measuring 29. 99 mm in diameter, weighing 15.
