Germany, Heer. A Boat Pilot’s Sleeve Insignia Auction Archive including copies of his Attestation(Steuermannsabzeichen). A sleeve insignia, indicating qualification as pilot (helmsman) for motorboats on inland waters, consisting of a helm wheel superimposed on an anchor on an oval base in machine embroidered aluminum thread, constructed on bluish dark green badge cloth, measures 52 mm (w) x 76 mm (h), and in extremely fine condition, accompanied by a picture postcard presenting a black and white photograph of a Pionier Feldwebel bearing the same
