Fire screen seller of the late 17th century whose cry was 'I have Screenes if you desier to keep your Buty from ye fire'
when it was used as a royal palace
in 1891 it transferred
and after his death in 1781 it was bought by the Barclay establishment
with boats and barges on the River Thames below
