Germany, Heer. An M42 Stahlhelm, by Sächsische Emaillier und Stanzwerke A.G. Republic of II Class Silver Grade Cross:(Heer Stahlhelm M42). A Heer M42 Stahlhelm, constructed of a single sheet of magnetic molybdenum steel which retains much of its original apple green paint. Three rivets are distributed around the outer circumference for the accommodation of the interior fixtures, while the crown is also flanked by dual ventilation holes. A flaring skirt culminates in an uncrimped rim in classic M4 style. The interior retains a zink ring, held in position by the shell
