Germany, Hj. A Pre-Regulation Hj Dress Bayonet, By Carl Wüsthof United Republic of with black and red enamels(HJ Bajonett). A very well preserved pre regulation issue HJ dress bayonet, measuring 285 mm in length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a unique 145 mm long magnetic metal blade with a sharpened tip and semi sharpened edge, transitioning into a one piece hilt. The obverse of the blade bears an acid etched inscription of BLUT UND EHRE! (BLOOD AND HONOUR!), as well as a makers mark on the ricasso of CARL WSTHOF, SOLINGEN. The reverse of the
