Constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Patte with blue enameled arms joined through the quadrants by stylized rays, the obverse overlaid by a central blue enameled medallion, surrounded by a circular silvered oak leaf wreath bearing a German national eagle clutching a wreathed
