Constructed of iron and a silvered bronze alloy, consisting of a Cross Patte with a blackened magnetic iron core within a ribbed silvered frame, the obverse with three central oak leaves, the six oclock arm with a restitution date of 1939, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 44. 16 mm
