It states that the High Seas Fleet Badge has been awarded to Matrosenobergefreiter (Senior Lance Corporal in the Kriegsmarine) Gerald Hiemer for participation in the war missions of auxiliary cruiser “Orion”

He died in 1973 in Olching (near Munich)
