Constructed of glaze white porcelain, the obverse bearing a central blue domes of a Russian Orthodox Church, topped by a Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, flanked by dates 1941 1942, and circumscribed by an inscription of WINTERFELDZUG LUFTGAU MOSKAU (WINTER CAMPAIGN AIR DISTRICT MOSCOW), the reverse bearing the logo of the Meissen Porcelain Factory, topped by two eyelets
