A drawing of the ivory bust now in the British Museum's collections. Inscribed below: 'from a carving in ivory by Le Marchand' and signed lower right 'G. P. Harding fecit.' Commissioned by Charles Turnor. Isaac Newton was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1672, he served as its President from 1703 to 1727. Original: pencil on paper. ca. 1840
