Argentina, Republic. An Order Of May For Merit, I Class Grand Cross Star, C.1960 certificate_of_authenticity A rectangular belt buckle constructed(Orden de Mayo Al Mrito). Instituted in 1946. Revised in 1957. In silver gilt with red and white enamels, measuring 76. 3 mm (w) x 77 mm (h), horizontal pinback along with hook on the reverse, chipping evident in the white enamels on the tips of two star points, surface wear evident on the reverse, near extremely fine.
