Canada. A 167Th Infantry Battalion "Canadiens Français" Cap Badge, C.1915 United Republic of marked and hallmarked on pinIn pickled copper, voided, measuring 37. 3 mm (w) x 44. 7 mm (h), both lugs intact, extremely fine. Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Quebec, with mobilization headquarters at Quebec City under the authority of G. O. 151, December 22, 1915. The Battalion was formed under the command of Lieutenant Colonel O. Readman and re designated the Quebec Recruiting Depot. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.
