In gold, cross formed by four gold swords joined by the pommels of their handles, evidence of slight chipping in red enamel on one of the swords, 51. 2 mm, near mint condition. Footnote: The Royal and Military Order of Saint Ferdinand was instituted in 1811. The Order was established in recognition of all military personnel who participated at the Peninsular War between 1807 1814. Currently, the Order is
