A Children’s Holiday Transportation Badge consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac and conceals an additional strap(Kinderlandverschickung Abzeichen). Constructed of gilded zink, horizontal pinback, the obverse bearing a central raised Sig rune overlaid by an HJ style German national eagle, circumscribed by an inscription of ERWEITERTE KIND LAND VERSCHICKUNG, unmarked, measuring 38 mm in diameter, demonstrating the loss of most of the gilt finish, in very fine condition.
