Romania, Kingdom. An Order Of The Star Of Romania, V Class Knight, Military Division, C.1940 United Republic of a silver round medal(Ordin "Steaua Romaniei"). Instituted in 1877. Type II (1932 1947). In silvered bronze with red, green and blue enamels, gilt cypher of Carol I on the obverse centrepiece, measuring 41 mm (w) x 63 mm (h) inclusive of its crown and laterally pierced ball suspension, intact enamels, on an original ribbon with hook and eye, extremely fine. Footnote: The Order of the Star of Romania is Romania's highest civil Order and second highest State decoration
