Germany, Luftwaffe. An Air Force Parachutist Badge Republic of 1895 in Ottawa(Luftwaffe Fallschirmjger Abzeichen). Instituted November 5th, 1936. (Mid to Late War Issue). Constructed of silvered and gilded zinc, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a diving Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the obverse eagle in place, with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked,
